PARTICIPANTS: The town hall will feature approximately 40 youth ages 13-18. Approximately 10 youth will be traveling to the White House from communities across the nation to join approximately 30 young people from local D.C., Virginia, and Maryland high schools. Attached to this memo are profiles of the ten (who will be giving brief "testimonials" within the format of the town hall), and a description of the area high schools and the additional 30 localized students arrending. The young town hall participants will "look like America" -- representing an appropriate cross section of age, gender, ethnic, geographic and economic backgrounds that track the phenomena of youth violence in our middle and high schools. 147 Columbus Avenue New York.
