Executive Director. 1993-present.
Serve as first chief executive officer of a new, community based, not-for-profit human service
agency. Responsible for long- and short-term planning and management ofagency infrastructure
and external operations, including fiscal planning and management, personnel hiring, deployment
and management, fund development, and internal and external communications. Implement
policies as formulated and as directed by Board of Directors.
CLINTON/GORE PRESIDENTIAL TRANSITION COMMITTEE. Washington, DC.
Special Assistant, United States Office of Personnel Management. 1993.
Served as a member of the transition staff for U.S. Government's personnel management agency.
Reviewed and monitored agency operation during transition-in-leadership phase. Made
recommendations for policy and operational initiatives.
Diversity Coordinator, Executive Branch Agencies Management. 1992-1993.
Responsible for coordination and tracking of Transition's targeted outreach personnel programs,
and cluster operation. Developed and coordinated managementtools for tracking Presidential and
other senior level appointments. Interfaced with senior management regarding Department and
Agency start-up and personnel operations. Participated in search for minority and women
candidates for senior, sub-Cabinet level appointments. Produced daily progress reports and
briefings.

Comptroller, Congressional Black Caucus GOTV Bus Tour. 1992.
Directed financial operation of six day. ten city, get-out-the-vote bus tour featuring Members of the
Congressional Black Caucus. Developed and implemented budget andfinancial procedures and
controls.

Director, Office of Convention Management. 1990-1992.
Member of six-person Senior Management Team which coordinated all Convention planning and
related activities. Specific responsibilities included:
long- and short-term planning and management of Convention's infrastructure and internal
operations;
day-to-day management of $12 million budget, including oversight of departmental
expenditures, personnel hiring and deployment, contractor selection & negotiations;
interaction and coordination with New York Host Committee and City of New York officials
on City's Convention-related activities and issues, including budgetary matters, program
planning, development and implementation;
