SUBJECT: RE: Latino meeting in CA
The feedback I received was very positive. I briefed Pena about 2 hours before
he walked into the meeting on Saturday morning, and he called me after the
meeting was done. I can tell you that he felt good about the meeting (and his
role) and he was very appreciative of being plugged-in to this event.
The feedback I heard from a couple of the participants was positive. everyone
feels that the President is doing a very good thing by reaching out to key
Hispanic leaders this early in the campaign season.
On another topic, I have forwarded to the Scheduling office the proposal for the
Adelante con Clinton roll-out that Henry spoke to Harold about. I'll send you a
copy of it today.
