FAX NOTE FOR LYNN CUTLER
FROM:
JIM FREE June BOB HICKMOTT Twtt
As you'll recall, our firm represents the Paucatuck Pequot Tribe of North Stonington,
Connecticut here in Washington. This morning the tribal council issued locally a public
statement announcement a development agreement that their government has entered into
with the Trump Organization of New York. Accordingly, we wanted to provide you with
a "heads-up" on this positive transaction for the Paucatuck people; their press release is
attached for your review.
In their decision-making process, the Paucatuck government placed heavy emphasis on
their desire to work with an experienced U.S. based investor/developer (other Connecticut
tribes partnered with non-U.S. financial backers, i.e.: the Mashantucket Pequots = an
Malaysian/Asian conglomerate, the Mohegans = South African based Sun International).
Best regards.
