Re: Domestic Partnership Legislation
Dear Ms. Potter;
This past year myself and my spouse have gotten national attention for challenging Gay
and Lesbian issues with first, a major corporation ( Ballys fitness ) and most recently, the
Broward County Taxation Department. Please see some of the enclosed press we
received. Also, enclosed is a copy of David Magazine on which we are the cover story.
We believe very strongly in the fight to gain domestic partnership rights across the country
for the gay and lesbian community.
If possible I would like an opportunity to speak to you and whomever in Washington
would let us voice our concerns and our commitment to this project. We would also be
willing to take an active role in the development of further legislation on a national level.
I am sure the President knows that Gay Americas face has changed. We are doctors,
lawyers, business executives and as in my spouse, television news anchors and producers.
This issue will not go away, and we would like to help in any way possible to draw further
attention to this issue.
Thank you for your attention and your dedication to the furtherance of the gay and lesbian
issues that present for us in this Millennium.
Sincerely,
Denno White D.C.
