PURPOSE To reiterate our strong support for small businesses by detailing what we plan to do for them and how. II. BACKGROUND The audience will consist of small business owners including members of the National Association of Women Business Owners, Small Business United, the Small Business Legislative Council and some members of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. As part of the SBA activities, most of the people in the audience have attended at least one of the White House briefings held this week. Erskine Bowles will introduce you. The other cabinet members seated on the stage visually underscore your administration-wide commitment to the full range of issues confronting small businesses. III.
