Memorandum
With the view to facilitating the
payment of claims, the disburding officers of the
hacedmens Branch of this office are engoined to
report to this office whenever in their judgement a
tour of payments will prove of advantage to the
government and of claimants, specifying the points
contemplated to be visited on such tour, together
with the respective number of claims payable
thereah, in order that this office may judge intelligently
of authorization. the expediency of granting the necessary
assistanh adjutant General
