New Occeans, La Major: I have to enclose herewith, for delivery to the soldier on proper identification, the discharge. certificate of Joseph fromen. late- Dorp. Co I. 74th It. & @ of the Dame having been transferred to this office by the Cate Kreedmens Bureau, to which ih was dent by the Second audition of the Freasury an January 19.1871 with notice of the rejection by his office of the soldier's claim for bounty, because of his "having been dischargea on account of disability which existed prior to ealistment." you will please do
