Amocas, 6th Dary, Disbursing officer, New Orleans, da Major: I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 17th Ellto. reporting the fraudulent character of the claim of John Winston late Pot, Co A, 10th u. S. C. o6. R., dettled by Treasury certificate No 623706, and to request that you will deposit the amount ($92.75) in the case to the credit of the United States.
