On inside front cover: "Dated by M. Marcel Destombes as probably about 1620, made by the elder Augustin Roussin."
Bound in full calf leather case with blind and gold tooled lines, corner decoration and central lozenge.
Text block consists of eight parchment folios, with renderings of six maps, adhered back-to-back with a pasteboard core between each.
Coat of arms of either Emmanuel Philibert or Charles Emmanuel I, Dukes of Savoy, on first page; graphite drawing on last page.
