A porch is on the left and the front of the house is partially obscured by a tree, but the door and eight windows on the two storys can be seen. A picked fend runs in front of the house. In from of this stands a woman with a white apron or skirt. Lines showing where the original glass plate negative were cracked comes down near the center of the photo in a triangular shape, wider at the bottom.
