Cochituate Village, part of the Town of Wayland, inset from Beers Atlas of Middlesex County (Mass), page 83, showing landowners, shoe factories, stores, the Academy, Methodist Church and other buildings. Covers the area from the Natick line, part of Loker and Main (East and West Plain Streets), Lake Road (Commonwealth Road) and Centre Street (now Main Street). Cochituate Lake is identified as "Long Pond or Cochituate Lake" and shows the gate house for the aqueduct. Small ponds are shown with names.
