Source Description

H.E. Whipple writes to William Lloyd Garrison suggesting that Garrison "cover a page of the last number [of the Liberator] with a facsimile of the first, and thus let them go forth together." Whipple assures Garrison "it will be very acceptable to the abolitionists, both of this country and Great Britain," and in the postscript, he requests Garrison ask his publisher to send him "as many numbers as he can afford to for the inclosed 50 c[en]ts."
