Letter from George Thompson, Manchester, [England], to Richard Davis Webb, 1848 Oct[ober] 19

George Thompson writes to Richard Davis Webb in regards to his travels to Wales for a week. He thanks him for taking the tracts. He asks about the new poltical party in the U.S. which has been created by the "labours of the Abolitionists." He trusts his American friends will maintain their principles and hold politicians accountable for their antislavery creed.
