Letter from James Freeman Clark, Jamaica Plain, [Massachusetts], to Theodore Parker, 1856 May 9

James Freeman Clark writes to Theodore Parker in regards to returning the Reports of the yearly meetings of the Progressive Friends. He has written a notice of their movement for the [Christian] Examiner. He writes, "I think that they have taken one step in the direction toward which the Christian Church is to move."
