Letter from Walter Hilliard Bidwell, New York, to Amos Augustus Phelps, 20 June 1844

W. H. Bidwell, the proprietor of the New York Evangelist, writes to Amos A. Phelps that Phelps’s “graphic delineation of Cambridge doings” has been published and on its way to Boston. After talking about the illness of Bradford, his associate at the Evangelist, Bidwell expresses his desire to obtain more letters for the paper, both from Phelps’s London associate and Phelps himself.
