William and Ellie Garrison are on their way to New York for a brief vacation. Ellie Garrison seems to be slightly ill and William Lloyd Garrison Jr.'s wool business is "impoverishingly dull." William Lloyd Garrison writes: "Mrs. Hall, Mary Willey's sister, is lying at the point of death, and so intense are her sufferings that her dissolution is constantly to be desired." The bust of William Lloyd Garrison by Anne Whitney is "highly approved by all who see it." Yesterday, William Lloyd Garrison visited Helen Eliza Garrison's grave at Forest Hills Cemetery.
