Writing to William Lloyd Garrison (Recipient), Samuel May Jr. (Writer) praises Samuel Johnson’s discourse at Lynn and suggests that the sermon should be published in a tract form. In the postscript, Writer also recommends that Adin Ballou’s article on slaveholders and a union with them, which was published in the previous issue of Practical Christian, be copied into the Liberator.
