Letter from Lucy T. Little, Ellsworth, to Amos Augustus Phelps, Feb. 28th 1840

In this letter, Lucy T. Little thanks Amos A. Phelps for his letter and advice. However, she says she has no faith in the cold water remedy Phelps recommended. She also thanks him for the interest he took in Oxbridge schools for her sake, although she is pleasantly engaged in her current school and has no intention to leave it. She talks about her travel plans, some news about people they both know, and the rumor that she heard about smallpox outbreak in Boston.
