Lucia Weston begins this letter by discussing letters she wrote and received and also plans with family. She then goes on to describe the collection of money for the newspaper, the Anti-Slavery Standard, by Mrs. Maria Weston Chapman. William F. Channing contributed a story to the Liberty Bell. Lucia mentions the trial of George Latimer, a fugitive slave.
