Call No. Ms.A.9.2 v.10, p.18B is a receipt, March 27, 1838, to the Massachusetts Anti-Slavery Society for the payment of expenses that William Lloyd Garrison "incurred in going to New-York, Feb. 28, 1837, to secure the services of Theodore D. Weld before the Legislature, in behalf of the Society,--- ---$21.00." This was approved by S.E. Sewall, Auditor.
Also included is Call No. Ms.A.9.2 v.10, p.18C, a receipt, March 30, 1838, to the Massachusetts Anti-Slavery Society, signed by William Lloyd Garrison, "for editing the Liberator from January 1, 1837, to January 1, 1838, at $1200 per annum,--- ---$1200.00."
