It is impracticable for William Lloyd Garrison to visit Dublin. A fortnight's work has been laid out to the best advantage. The last meeting will probably be in Rochdale on Nov. 2, or possibly Nov. 3. The Newcastle meeting surpassed all others in spite of the attempts to prejudice people against Garrison. Garrison spent two days at Elizabeth Pease (Nichol)'s quiet residence; he has increased admiration for her character. Garrison had an excellent meeting in Liverpool. In Edinburgh, Garrison was presented with an elegant tea service and a silk purse containing ten sovereigns; he values such tokens.
