Letter from Joseph Avery Howland, Worcester, [Mass.], to Samuel May, Aug. 30, 1859

Howland protests against the failure to renew his appointment as agent of the American Anti-Slavery Society. On the second page of Howland's letter, May wrote an outline of his August 31 response to Howland.
