Source Description

Amos A. Phelps writes to Elizur Wright Jr. about his activities and plans, as well as the need for extra copies of the “Emancipator” to distribute at lectures. He discusses the materials to be included in the extra copies. He then talks about the reward offered for his head. He suspects that people who offered it are the Northerners who mobbed him in Farmington and are now located in the South.
