Letter from Amos Augustus Phelps, Andover [Mass.], to Charlotte Phelps, July 18, 1835

A.A. Phelps writes to his wife, Charlotte, that he is in Andover and will remain there all the next week. He says “[t]he cause is going on gloriously,” and that about 100 students of the Latin Academy are actively engaged in the cause.
