Letter from John Emery Fuller, Boston, to Amos Augustus Phelps, March-22-1836
John E. Fuller writes to Amos A. Phelps that the First Free Congregational Church of Boston, without opposition, elected Phelps to be the church’s pastor. He says the choice was nearly unanimous, and that the eyes of the church seem to have been closed until recently.
