Anne Warren Weston gives local and family news. "Little Henry is well, tho' of course troublesome, as I think he always will be. Little Ann is...good as pie." She discusses family business matters. Mentions letters from Warren Weston, who has arranged his affairs successfully through the aid of Daniel Webster and Walter Forward, and was to sail the 14th. Anne is sending "The Vulgar Boy." The "cold water army" had a meeting at the Universalist vestry.
