Source Description

Letter from Hazel J. Murray, on behalf of the Selectmen, to Edwin B. Worthen, October 22, 1946. The Selectmen ask if Mr. Worthen, as a banker, will serve on a post-war committee that will consider plans to subdivide the former Poor Farm tract into housing lots to be sold to veterans of World War II. The letter includes names of other committee members: William Phillips, W. S. Couette, Sherman K. Hardy, Elmer C. Houdlette, Gordon D. Richards, Theodore A. Custance, and John H. Devine.
