Source Description

This woven linen textile is decorated with silk-thread embroidery in several colours. The initial composition layout consists of dark red and navy blue florals along three sides of of the textile, with a "pinwheel" in the fourth. A second layer of embroideries seems to have been added, filling all of the empty spaces with additional florals and small medallions in an orange and slate blue colour palette.
