Source Description

The form of this early earthenware pot corresponds rather closely to the red earthenware vessel with horn-shaped handles (<a href="http://www.cma.org/art/1997.186"><u>CMA 1997.186</u></a>). The attractive, gritty fabric of the clay body, the sooty black firing marks as well as the folded and hand-crimped rim help clarify the evolution of this functional shape in early Korean ceramic history.
