Document source description

The shank or band of this ring is crescent-shaped and circular in section; its upper sections are covered with heavy gold wire. The oval bezel on a swivel, the metal that holds the stone, takes the form of a scaraboid, or seal amulet in the shape of a scarab. Its sides are encircled by a double row of granules and are surmounted by a delicately molded frog in the round. The underside is incised with a nefer-sign to the right and a wedjat-eye.
