Source Description

At the lower right of this tsuba, two geese stand among autumn grasses. They appear to be looking at a third goose, who flies overhead at the upper left. More reeds are illustrated on the back. Geese are associated with autumn because of their migration patterns. The edge of this tsuba was once covered in gold leaf.
