Source Description

A standard (oblong) grey lacquer three case inro. On one side a snow-covered "yabukoji" in "hiramakie" in gold with berries in applied carnelain on a grey lacquer round. On the other side a pine branch with a pine cone in gold. Inscribed in gold near the pine tree and a red seal. Inscribed on the bottom of the lower case with the inro artist's name. The interior of red lacquer and "fundame." The cord channels are external. Together with a carved ivory netsuke seal of a "shishi" on a ball all on a rectangular platform.
