Fuchi with Autumn Flowers
The fuchi is decorated with bush clover, fringed pink, mist flower, and arrowroot. These are four of the seven autumn grasses that were celebrated in ancient Japanese poetry. The other three on the matching kashira, Walters 51.1063.
