Document source description
A crane is shown in waves at the lower right of the tsuba. Along the right and upper right is the blossoming and fruiting branch of a peach tree. A large full moon in gold is in the background. On the reverse, another branch is depicted at the upper left. A large rock fills the composition, with waves crashing into it at the lower left. Cranes and peaches are both symbols of longevity.
