Document source description

This vase is decorated all over with objects of the Hundred Treasures (baibao) or Hundred Antiques (baigu) motif. The Hundred Treasures motif does not always consist of exactly the same objects–artisans typically select a combination of objects from the entire range of possibilities, but all of them generally express good wishes and good fortune. Each object of the motif has been applied as molded decoration that projects from the ceramic surface.
