This ivory box is made with molded decorations, where both the body and lid are composed of elements turned on the lathe with raised ribbed moldings at top and bottom. The mounts are complete: lock, hasp, handle, hinges, and suspension rings. The four supports at the base not only tie the bottom and sides together but also serve as feet.
