Source Description
The tsuba is divided into two sections through the use of different metals. The lower left section is decorated with incised chrysanthemums. The upper right depicts an inlaid dragonfly with ferns and bamboo. An incised butterfly and cricket are also in the upper section. On the reverse, the flowers in the lower section include Chinese bell flower, maiden flowers, bush clover, and pampas grass. In the upper section are a grasshopper, beetle, and butterfly. This is part of a mounted set.
