Horse-Head Fibula
This fibula is shaped like the head and neck of a horse. Dots suggest the texture of the coat and looped filigree is used for the mane. While the form of the pin was inspired by Roman examples, the subject matter, the horse, relects the importance of these animals to the Huns.
