Mary, Queen of Scotts (?)
This circular miniature shows a woman in widow's dress in the costume of the 16th century. The inscription on the gilt frame reads: "Academia Pictor Sculptor Et Architect Urbis." It may date from a different period from the painting. Marbled paper on reverse.
