Fol. 209 scribal colophon of fr. de gon. (Francisco de Gonzaga or frater de Gonzaga) If marquis of Mantua 1439-1464 and manuscript patron. In 1859 4 parchment folios from an earlier ms of the same work were sewn in at the beginning and end. 1st of these in late 15th c Italian hand. End leaves purchased by Seymour de Ricci (1881-1942) from P. de Sadeleer of Brussels on 9 Dec. 1903 (See DeRicci census); present whereabouts of leaves unknown.; fol 1 signature of 19th c. owner in black ink; fol 1 signature of 19th c. owner in black ink ""huzard de'l'institu"" J.B. huzard sale (Paris, 1842 I, no. 4860).
