Tsuka with Wheat Stalks and Plum Blossoms

The body of the tsuka, like the accompanying saya, is decorated with stalks of wheat in gold inlay. The kashira depicts branches of plum blossoms. Plums are the first tree to flower at the end of winter. This is part of a mounted set.
