This non-original binding from Walters manuscript W.622 is composed of lacquer boards (without a flap). The binding depicts hunting scenes with a gazelle and a bear and has an inscription on the lower board, dated 1271 AH/AD 1854, reading: ya Shah Najaf (oh, King of Najaf, i.e. 'Ali).
