Source Description
In 1896 Henry Walters purchased a 224 ft steamyacht from the Philadelphia banking heir, Anthony Joseph Drexel, Jr., which he named, Narada. That year he also became a member of the New York Yacht Club.Not much is known about the artist Antonio de Simone, but numerous watercolors signed by him exist, often depicting the yachts of wealthy Americans.
