Torso of the Aphrodite of Knidos Type
Late Hellenistic copies of the Aphrodite of Knidos exhibit an increasing mastery of the nude female form and focus on female sensuality and sexuality. On her left thigh are the remains of the fingers of her right hand, which was drawn across her body in a gesture of modesty.
