SUPPLEMENTARY EFFICIENCY REPORT
for 1932
Name - Linnie Beauchamp
L .
Position - Nursing Field Representative for State of Kansas -
5
Date of Assignment - September, 1927 -
in
Education - Good educational background; reads extensively along many lines, but
(°
especially material pertaining to Welfare and Public Health. She has
an analytical mind and makes good use of material; makes frequent
suggestions for use of such. Responds promptly to requests and
suggestions from Branch office. Writes very well and speaks well and
convincingly in public.
Personality Characteristics - Miss Beauchamp enjoys good health, is attractive,
but rather colorless; dresses in good taste and gives the necessary
attention to grooming. She is a detailist and requires lots of time
for everything. Her deliberate manner and monotonous marner of speech
bore her listeners and would be unbearable but for the fact that she
is very well informed on subjects that come up for discussion -
Organization and Executive ability - Has a good knowledge of philosophy and policies
of organi zation and understands problems related to it in a general way
and especially as it relates to rural public health nursing programs.
She is somewhat handicapp ed as far as city service organization work
and problems is concerned, due in part to limited previous experience.
However, her work with her city services shows marked improvement and
progress.
Her reports indicate comprehensive planning for services, both in con-
nection with chapter relationships and the technical aspect of the
nurses*work. This and her tenacity of purpose, or her insistence, are
sometimes annoying, but in the final analysis Miss Beauchamp is an
efficient organizer and executive.-
Special contributions and weak points - Her loyalty to Red Cross and her vital
interest and comprehension of all its activities and her well prepared
reports. Her most obvious weakness is her lack of humor; her insistence
on details, and her lack of expression in conversation, or her monoto-
nous "scolding" sort of delivery.
Outstanding Contributions - Nothing in particular - Miss Beauchamp's work has
been and is satisfactory. She is without any doubt a most ardent and
devoted Red Cross worker and is considered a very good field represen-
tative.
Note: Please refer to previous reports of 1930 and 1931.
