My dear Miss Hilliard:

Your letter of April llth sua found upon my
return from a short absence. The nursing members of the National

Committee on Red Croms Nureing Service are recommended by the

three National Nursing Associations, for a definite period, and

unless you were reneminated you would automatically cease to be a
member of the Committee. I am enclosing a list of the Committee as
it now stands.
Inasmuch as Miss Pickett, who is writing the
History of the Red Cross Nursing Service was not familiar with your
present address, and the latest we had at Washington was - Bellevue -
she sent her communication to you through Miss Johnson. What Miss
Pickett desired, was further information regarding yourself to fill
in the space. Apparently Miss Johnson did not send a copy of the
communication directly to you. I am therefore enclosing a copy, in
case you have not seen this, in order that you may better understand
the purpose of the communication.
