Miss Harriet Douglas
865 First Ave.
New York, N. Y.
My dear Miss Douglast
Thank you so much for your Christmas
message. I thought of you many times of late and wondered
where you were and what you were doing. Therefore, it was
a great pleasure to hear from you. I go to New York but
rarely these days and hence see very little of the Chapter
staff. I hope, however, to be there in January and will
probably stay at the New Yorker, although I am not certain
where the meetings of the Board of Directors of the American
Nurses' Association will be held.
Can you not find a moment in which to
have a little visit with me? I shall probably be there from
the 21st until the 26th. I had hoped not to be obliged to
go over until the 22nd but find that a special meeting has been
called for the 21st at which I should be present.
With best wishes for a Happy New Year,
I remain
Very sincerely yours,
Director of Nursing
