Mrs. A. C. Erskine,
R.F. D. #1,
Wiscasset, Maine.
My dear Mrs. Erskine:
Ina smuch as you are named in the enrollment
application papers of Miss Winifred L. Erskine as her nearest
relative, we are taking the liberty of writing you for her
present post office address. We have not heard from Miss
Erskine at this office, since her release from service as
Red Cross Public Health nurse under the Haxtum Chapter, A.R.C.,
Haxtum, Colorado, at which time we were advised that she had
gone to California. We are very anxious to have the present
post office address of this nurse in order that her records
as an American Red Cross nurse may be complete. I may add,
however, that it is not our desire to call upon Miss Erskine
for any service whatever, but simply to know her whereabouts.
Thanking you in advance for the courtesy of an
early reply, believe me
Very truly yours,
Clara D. Noyes,
Director, Nursing Service.
