To
Miss Clara D. .Noyes,
Director American Red Cross Nursing Service,
Washington D.C.
Dear Miss Noyes,

us we cannot but express the immense gratitude we
feel for the numerous benefits obtained by all
of us through the instruction of the American
Red Cross on Home Hygiene & care of the sick.
The great interest shown by Mrs Heilmann
M
in her work, together with her kindness and
FC
untiring patience towards all the members of the gro
the
during the lessons, are the main source of the pro-
gress made by us in relatively short time.

to us, that Mrs. Heilmann's work should be dis-
continued at a moment when her experience and
her intimate knowledge are mostly needed by us,
because we are convinced that her advice is re-
quired yet for quite some time, before we can take it
entirely upon ourselves to continue the practice.
We sincerely hope that our combined effor ts
will induce the Dominican Government to engage
the services of an instructor and we feel certain
